The Paper Operetta

On June 8 2024, we invited audiences to a special work-in-progress presentation of a new show, The Paper Operetta. Our story centers around a world of giant two-dimensional paper dolls, who build the first thing to exist in the third dimension-- a human who calls herself "Z."
With lots of art, puppetry, whimsy, and a beautiful live score with nods to Gilbert & Sullivan, "The Paper Operetta" asks the fundamental question: what drives human beings to perpetually open new doors that we aren't able to close?
The production will be finished in the near future and go on some sort of Midwestern tour! Stay tuned.
